What are your areas of special interest?
I focus on chronic disease management—especially diabetes, hypertension, and weight management. I work closely with patients to create practical, long-term plans that improve their overall health, prevent complications, and support sustainable lifestyle change.

What languages do you speak?
I consult in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, so patients can discuss their health in the language they feel most comfortable with. This helps ensure clear communication and a better understanding of their concerns.

What is your favourite thing about being a GP?
I value being able to reassure patients and help them feel supported during uncertain or stressful times. Providing clear explanations, easing worries, and building long-term relationships with patients is the most meaningful part of my work.

What is the one thing you could not go without on a daily basis?

Spending time with my kids every day keeps me grounded and reminds me of the importance of family—something I carry into my consultations as I help patients look after their health and wellbeing.

What is your favourite cuisine?

I love comforting, hearty dishes like Udon noodle soup—similar to how I aim to offer practical, down-to-earth advice that patients can easily apply in their daily lives.

What is the most interesting place you have visited?

The Penguin Parade at Phillip Island stands out as a reminder to slow down and enjoy meaningful moments—something I often encourage patients to do as part of maintaining good health and balance.

If you were not a GP, what would you be?
I would be a chef. I enjoy creating things that bring comfort and joy to others—similar to how I approach patient care, where small, thoughtful actions can make a big difference to someone’s wellbeing.
